The Power A Bright Future program gives you a chance to make a difference and win a grant for your school to give students the opportunity to thrive by exploring, creating and playing!

What's New in 2012?

• There will be a total of 7 grants given away this year — 4 based on votes, and 3 based on judge’s pick. The nomination with the most votes overall will receive a $50,000 grant. The nominations with the most votes in each category will each receive a $25,000 grant. Clorox will then review all nominations and pick one from each category based on merit to award a $25,000 grant in each category.

Play

Even our future engineers and poets need study breaks. Clorox® is encouraging getting kids out and playing with our Play category. Nominations should focus on helping kids thrive outside the classroom through projects like building playgrounds or establishing sports and exercise-focused programs.

Create

Creative activities spark new passions for your children and produce irreplaceable memories. Clorox is giving students the power to create moments to remember with this year's Create category. Nominations should focus on helping kids through arts-focused platforms; from after-school music programs to a new photography darkroom, to a theater group.

Explore

Students learn by doing, seeing, and working together. Clorox wants kids to discover new possibilities together with this year’s Explore category. Nominations should focus on helping kids through enriching their academic opportunities, like establishing a science club, enhancing a school’s computer lab, or building a peer tutoring program.

Judge's Pick

In addition to individual category winners, Clorox and education experts who are members of the Clorox Classrooms Faculty Panel will select three winners, one in each category, that showcase exemplary programs that helps kids and makes an impact at the school.
